Speaker: Adam-Michael Royston, CFRE, AFP Master Trainer

Adam-Michael Royston (A.M.) comes from a decade of experience securing critical funds for causes that change the world., A.M. was inspired to dedicate his career to non-profit work after volunteering weekly for the YMCA of D.C. A.M. has worked or lived in over 20 countries, mostly in Asia. He has raised more than 50 million dollars for programs focusing on youth development, women’s economic empowerment, clean water, HIV/AIDS, LGBTQ+ inclusion, and IDPs/refugees all as a one man show. Having raised funds for many projects, he is most proud of leading the proposal design for construction of a new hospital on the Thai/Myanmar border, as it provided healthcare to half a million people- proving that one person with an idea can make a difference. He has worked in several small shops before he tested the waters in large fundraising departments. Those waters were too cold for him and he realized he missed the solitude of a one-person shop so he finds himself yet again thriving among the chaos.
